Ok, so we all know that usually, ‘fashion weeks’ don’t actually mean all that much in the grand scheme of things. By this I mean that there’s nothing really special about them – there actually seems to always be a fashion week going on somewhere in the world, which means that there’s nothing really special about them. But the London Fashion Week is different, for a couple of reasons. Firstly, London is a ‘fashion capital’ – one of a very few cities which can claim this title, which naturally means that anything happening there to do with fashion is going to be bigger news than if it was taking place in a ‘lesser’ city. Secondly, the next London Fashion Week is going to be a little bit more special. CBS Outdoor UK will be broadcasting live footage of the event to screens in over 60 underground stations across central London, allowing travelers to have a brief peek inside the festivities – probably motivating them to go do some more online shopping!
